Terms of Service

Effective September 1, 2026

Please read Section 16 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved through individual binding arbitration and includes a class-action and jury-trial waiver. You may opt out within 30 days as described there.

1. Agreement and operator

Rapid Liar is operated by CFB Picks LLC (“Rapid Liar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using rapidliar.com, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit content. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. Rapid Liar is not directed to children under 13.

3. Accounts

You may play without an account. An account is required to post a score publicly, create or join a private friend group, or use author and submission features. You are responsible for your display and group names, invitations you share, the accuracy of your information, activity under your account, and maintaining the security of your sign-in method. Notify us promptly at support@rapidliar.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Gameplay and results

Rapid Liar is an entertainment and trivia service. We may correct quotation classifications, scores, statistics, credits, or other errors. We do not guarantee that every edition, result, statistic, percentile, streak, leaderboard position, or feature will always be available or error-free. Unless separate official rules expressly say otherwise, scores, author rankings, and other recognition have no cash value and do not create a prize, employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, or right to compensation.

We may remove, adjust, recalculate, or invalidate plays, scores, author fool rates, referrals, publication statistics, or leaderboard positions that we reasonably believe resulted from searching for answers during timed play, automation, multiple-account activity, collusion, exploitation, fraudulent referrals, technical manipulation, or another threat to game integrity. Gameplay, moderation, eligibility, and enforcement decisions are final to the extent permitted by law.

5. Your submissions

You retain ownership of an original lie or other content you submit. You grant CFB Picks LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to review, store, screen, edit, adapt, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, promote, and create derivative materials from your submission in connection with Rapid Liar and its marketing. This includes publishing the line in a game, displaying your chosen byline and performance statistics, and creating author share cards.

You may withdraw an unpublished submission by contacting us. If a submission has been selected, scheduled, incorporated into an edition, or published, the license for that submission becomes perpetual and irrevocable so we can preserve completed games, archives, results, and promotional materials. You may still request removal of your public byline as described in the Privacy Policy.

You understand that:

  • submission does not guarantee acceptance, shortlisting, selection, publication, credit, or compensation;
  • we may edit a submission for clarity, length, tone, accuracy, safety, or gameplay;
  • editorial decisions are final, and we may reject, withdraw, or remove content at any time;
  • similar ideas may be submitted independently or developed by us; and
  • published bylines and author-performance information may be visible to other users.

6. Your promises about submitted content

You represent that your submission is your own original work, that you have the rights needed to submit it, and that our permitted use will not violate another person’s rights. Do not submit actual dialogue as a fabricated line, plagiarized material, private information, impersonation, threats, hate, harassment, unlawful content, or material designed to manipulate or disrupt the game.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Rapid Liar. Prohibited activity includes automated or bulk submissions; bots or scripts intended to evade limits; unauthorized scraping; attempts to access unreleased answers, private submissions, accounts, systems, or editorial tools; interference with service operation; fraudulent referrals or statistics; malware; and violations of law or another person’s rights.

8. Our content and third-party properties

The Rapid Liar name, design, software, game presentation, original editorial material, and related assets belong to CFB Picks LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission. Movie and television titles, quotations, characters, trademarks, and other third-party properties belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe material on Rapid Liar infringes your copyright, send a written notice to support@rapidliar.com with the subject “Copyright Notice.” The notice should include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material; your name and contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

If material you submitted is removed in response to a copyright notice, you may send a counter-notice containing your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction required by applicable law. We may forward notices and counter-notices to the affected parties. We may terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

This email complaint process does not itself represent that CFB Picks LLC has completed registration of a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.

10. Third-party services

Rapid Liar relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, analytics, content screening, and sharing. Your use of optional third-party sign-in or sharing services may also be governed by those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

11. Suspension and termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access; reject or remove submissions; or invalidate activity when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, the service or other users are at risk, or the action is needed for legal or operational reasons. You may stop using Rapid Liar at any time and may request account deletion by emailing privacy@rapidliar.com.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapid Liar is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CFB Picks LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from Rapid Liar. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us, if any, during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CFB Picks LLC and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your submitted content, your misuse of Rapid Liar, or your violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of Section 16. Any dispute excluded from arbitration will be brought in a state or federal court located in Georgia, and you consent to that court’s jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

16. Binding arbitration and class-action waiver

Informal resolution first. Before starting arbitration, either party must give the other a written notice describing the dispute and requested relief. Send your notice to support@rapidliar.com with the subject “Dispute Notice.” The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.

Individual arbitration. If the dispute is not resolved, you and CFB Picks LLC agree that any claim arising from or relating to Rapid Liar, these Terms, or our relationship will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its then-current Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies a court could award. Arbitration may occur by documents, telephone, video conference, or in person as permitted by the applicable rules. Fees will be allocated under the AAA rules, and we will pay amounts we are required to pay under those rules or applicable law.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Either party may also seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights, confidential information, security, or service integrity while arbitration is pending.

No class proceedings. You and CFB Picks LLC agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity. Neither party may bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, representative, or private-attorney-general proceeding. An arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party’s individual claim.

Jury-trial waiver. To the extent a dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, each party waives the right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Thirty-day opt-out. You may opt out of this Section by emailing support@rapidliar.com with the subject “Arbitration Opt-Out” within 30 days after you first accept these Terms or within 30 days after September 1, 2026, whichever is later. Include your account email, if applicable, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

If the class-proceeding waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request will be severed and decided by a court after all arbitrable claims are resolved. If AAA is unavailable and the parties cannot agree on a substitute, a court may appoint an arbitrator under applicable law.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms as Rapid Liar evolves. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

18. General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and CFB Picks LLC regarding Rapid Liar and supersede prior understandings about the service. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary and the remainder will remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law.

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Headings are for convenience only. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including submission licenses, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute terms, and general contract provisions—will survive.
